About Salford Group

Since 1978, Salford Group has been a leading manufacturer of conventional tillage equipment and has grown over the years with innovative tillage designs. In 2005, Salford began engineering and manufacturing application equipment as well.

Through strategic acquisitions, Salford has expanded its product line to include BBI Spreaders (founded in 1991), manufacturers of quality spinner spreaders, Valmar Airflo (established in 1977), manufacturers of air boom and granular application tools, and AerWay Aeration (established in 1983), manufacturers of aeration tillage and turf tools. Like Salford, these companies have focused on engineering innovative equipment that improves growers efficiency, while being durable and easy-to-use.

Salford has five production facilities across North America, located in Iowa and Georgia in the United States, and in Ontario and Manitoba in Canada. Salford also has a network of parts distribution centers, providing excellent product support and customer service.

In 2022, Salford Group was acquired by Linamar Corporation. Salford joined Skyjack, MacDon as part of Linamar’s industrial division.

At Salford, we are committed to providing high-quality and innovative equipment that meets the needs of farmers across North America. With the support of Linamar Corporation and its subsidiaries, Salford is well-positioned for continued growth and success in the years ahead.
