This strategic move is part of Salford’s ongoing commitment to expanding the depth and support of its fertilizer application business.
“Since Mark has been with Salford, he has demonstrated exceptional skill in leveraging deep industry knowledge and established relationships within the commercial fertilizer sector,” said Tom Rodger’s, Salford’s Director of Sales and Marketing. Rodgers noted that Magee’s efforts have significantly contributed to business development alongside Salford territory sales managers.
Magee’s responsibilities will also extend to managing Salford’s key national accounts in the commercial fertilizer industry, fortifying relationships with partner Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs), and their teams working with these accounts.
Magee will focus on aligning with Salford’s growth strategy, emphasizing commercial and large grower granular application products. These products are designed to not only increase efficiency and productivity for owners, but also to support environmental sustainability, and meet or exceed the growing regulatory requirements in the agriculture sector.
Magee’s promotion is a testament to Salford’s commitment to innovation and leadership in the agricultural sector, particularly in enhancing granular fertilizer application techniques. His expertise and vision are expected to drive significant advancements in this area, benefiting growers and the agricultural community at large.
