Salford’s AB320DF combines the greatest application width – 90’ – with a versatile new hopper to deliver the most effective mounted air boom applicator on the market. Designed for the John Deere® F4365 and 800R floater chassis, the AB320DF offers accuracy, capacity and speed.
The new hopper design is capable of applying one, two or three products at once with various hopper configurations. This advanced floater chassis features the Valmar’s Venturi metering design for simple and accurate application with proven reliability and simple maintenance.
The AB320DF is capable of four distinct hopper configurations to match the application job at hand and optimize tendering to maximize productivity. The hopper can be split into multiple compartments, allowing one or multiple main products with an option to add micronutrient, cover crop or granular herbicides.
The hydraulic bi-fold booms are built with spring-protected break-away tips. Boom skis are fitted to help further reduce the risk of tip damage during a boom ground strike. Enhanced mid-boom breakaway features allow the operator to fold the boom even if an object has been struck, breaking the shear bolt.
The AB320 model is factory ready for the 4600 Command Center display and function control switches. The left / right section control provides variable rate application, reducing overlap and savings on input costs.
Compartments 1 and 2 are equipped with 304 stainless steel conveyors and meter rollers help accurately apply micro-nutrients, cover crops or granular herbicides.
