Sniper Spinner Spreader

Salford’s BBI Sniper is  designed to spread fertilizer up to 120 feet. The wide swath application allows growers to get more done, faster, and with less fuel used. 120 foot application width also means 25%-50% fewer passes in the field, resulting in much less compaction.

The Sniper is capable of 12 section control and application widths down to 30 feet. This application resolution helps to keep fertilizer where it’s needed reducing over applied areas and saves growers on their input costs. The Sniper’s section control system is a simple, durable design that is engineered to be much more reliable than competitor’s spreader section control systems.

The Sniper features a 264-cubic-foot capacity with an impressive 8.6-ton rating, making it ideal for high-efficiency applications. It is available in painted, 409 stainless steel, or 304 stainless steel construction to match the rest of your equipment. The unit delivers exceptional performance with an application width up to 120 feet for fertilizer, ensuring wide, uniform coverage. It is fully ISOBUS compatible, offering 12-section spread pattern control for precision application. It also comes with a roll tarp installed.

The Sniper’s PTO-driven, self-contained hydraulic system provides reliable, consistent power delivery in the field. Operators can choose between a 1000 RPM Series 6 CV 1 3/4 20-spline or 1000 RPM Series 6 CV 1 3/8 21-spline configuration to match their tractor setup. The system comes fully equipped with four manifolds and PWM valves, allowing precise control of each spinner and each conveyor for accurate material placement, the package also includes heat-shrink fittings.

The Sniper comes equipped with twin independently driven stainless steel spinners, engineered for consistent and accurate material distribution. These spinners are fully ISOBUS speed-controlled, allowing the system to automatically maintain optimal spinner speed for maximum application width. The system can also adjust spinner output based on prescription maps, ensuring the right rate is applied in exactly the right place.

The Sniper delivers application flexibility with a wide range of rate capabilities. At a maximum rate of 65 lb/ft³, it can apply up to 650 lbs/acre at 10 mph for high-demand scenarios, while also achieving a minimum rate of 50 lbs/acre at 10 mph for lighter applications.
