If you need to connect your Salford air boom to the IQANgo Boom Fold app, this guide will walk you through the process. Following these steps will ensure a seamless connection, allowing you to control or monitor your air boom with ease. Step-by-Step Instructions
1. Download the IQANgo App
To get started, download the IQANgo app from the app store on your device. The app is available for both Apple and Android devices.
2. Open the App and Power on the Chassis
Once the download is complete, open the app. At the same time, make sure that the chassis of your machine is turned on. This step is crucial, as the app needs to connect to the IQAN module on the machine.
3. Initiate the Connection
Inside the app, locate and click on the Connect button. A pop-up menu will appear, giving you the option to select the type of connection.
Connection Methods:
- Bluetooth: Best used when you are physically near the machine.
- Internet: Used for remote connections via the host’s phone.
For optimal connection, turn off any unnecessary Bluetooth devices and ensure you are positioned inside the cab.
4. Select Air Boom and Confirm Connection
From the connection menu, select Air Boom and then click the Connect button on the pop-up menu. Once successfully connected, you will see five options at the bottom of the app:
- Menu
- System
- Logs
- Measure
- Settings
These options allow you to navigate and configure your machine’s settings effectively.
Tips and Troubleshooting
- Connection Issues? Ensure the chassis is powered on and that the Bluetooth signal is strong.
- Remote Connection Not Working? Verify your internet connection and ensure the host device is properly configured.
- App Not Detecting the Air Boom? Restart both the app and the machine before attempting to reconnect.
