Brian Hobson, BBI’s territory sales manager for the Southwest and Western United States, will join key dealer partner Brothers Equipment of Friend, Nebraska at this year’s 3I Show in Dodge City, Kansas.
Organized and managed by the Western Kansas Manufacturers Association, the 3I Show is a North American agri-business tradition celebrating its 60th anniversary in 2014. 3I is a salute to industry, implements, and irrigation, taking place at the Western State Bank Expo Center on July 10-12. Exhibitors from multiple equipment, implement, and irrigation sectors will present their goods to farmers from the American heartland of Kansas, Nebraska, and surrounding states.
The 3I Show began as a traveling exhibit in 1950, with Western Kansas Karavan members showcasing their products on trucks in a series of one-night shows in various Kansas towns. In 2014, 3I is the largest free expo of its kind in the state of Kansas, with more than 500 exhibitors participating. Admission and parking, as well as shuttles from the airport, are free for all attendees. The show will feature trucks and truck equipment displays, cattle handling equipment displays, consumer product demonstrations, crop protection information, vintage equipment, and lots of educational and fun activities for attendees of all ages.
BBI Spreaders is a proud exhibitor at the 60th 3I Show, standing with the fine people of Brothers Equipment, our partner for the region based in Friend, Nebraska. Brothers Equipment is an area institution in its own right. In 2015, this outstanding dealership will celebrate its 40th anniversary of providing new and used farm equipment, along with excellent parts and service support, to heartland farmers.
Joining Brothers Equipment at the show is Brian Hobson, BBI’s sales manager for the heartland region. Hobson, based in the Mississippi Delta, and Brothers Equipment will be showing MagnaSpread and Liberty, BBI’s offerings for precision application of fertilizer and lime. MagnaSpread is BBI’s platform of hydraulic spreaders, featuring unrivalled power, precision, and efficiency. All of BBI’s hydraulic models, including MagnaSpread, now arrive in the field standard-equipped with the company’s latest precision farming technology application, the Task Command System. This precision ag suite features auto-steer capability, guidance, and variable-rate control, offering farmers a cost-effective way to leverage agronomic data with targeted application of nutrients.
Liberty is BBI’s line of mechanical, ground wheel-drive spreaders for fertilizer and lime. A heritage line that has launched multiple innovations for BBI, Liberty is the first BBI Spreader to feature the company’s breakthrough spread pattern, a wider, flatter, more consistent swath that has proved revolutionary in improving bottom-line economic performance for farmers through more targeted nutrient application and drastically-reduced material and fuel waste.
“We are excited to join the great team from Brothers Equipment at this year’s 3I Show in Dodge City,” stated Hobson. “Any chance we have to show our leading edge equipment to the farmers of this region is an opportunity to grow with some of the most advanced, sophisticated operations in the world of agriculture. Farmers of the American heartland lead the world in innovation, and we strive to be the kind of equipment company that they can think of as a business partner, improving their economics with each successive year.”
