Taking place annually at the Lancaster Events Center, the Nebraska Power Farming Show is the nation’s second-largest indoor show and a leading event in the post-harvest winter trade show calendar for the agriculture sector. Sponsored by the Iowa-Nebraska Equipment Dealers Association, the show brings together more than 900 companies representing 23 states and four Canadian provinces.
This year’s show will run from December 10-12.
The Nebraska Power Farming Show will feature companies showcasing equipment from the following sectors: row crop, hay/forage, irrigation, grain storage and handling, seed hauling, livestock, fertilizer and chemical, seed, and precision agriculture management software. The show will also feature a variety of seminars delivered by staff from the University of Nebraska Extension, as well as private entities on topics ranging from family farm succession issues and grain market pricing to tractor testing and drought recovery.
At this year’s Nebraska Power Farming Show, Denny McCauley, BBI’s Territory Sales Manager for the Midwest and western United States, will join the team from Brothers Equipment. Located in the town of Friend, Nebraska just west of Lincoln, Brothers Equipment is new to the BBI dealer network in 2013. While new to the BBI family, Brothers Equipment is no stranger to selling elite equipment and technology to heartland farmers. Founded in 1975, the company is nearing its 40th anniversary in 2015, stronger than ever, focusing on multiple product areas and precision agriculture software to meet the needs of the Cornhusker State’s sophisticated farming community.
McCauley and Brothers will be showing MagnaSpread, the industry leader in cost-in-use, a calculation BBI uses to define excellence in efficiency for customer return on investment. MagnaSpread is the company’s flagship line of hydraulic fertilizer and lime spreaders optimized for a variety of farm sizes and crop types. Earlier this year, BBI released its latest iterations of the MagnaSpread line within the all-new Producer Series aimed at delivering an unprecedented combination of power, precision, and efficiency to large-acreage farming operations.
The launch of MagnaSpread Ultra effectively creates a new class of spreader known for its power and in-the-field stamina maintained by BBI’s proprietary Continuous Duty Hydraulics system. Complementing Ultra are a pair of multi-hopper models, MagnaSpread 2 and MagnaSpread 3, also in a class all their own, as they eclipse former industry standards for simultaneous, targeted application of fertilizer, lime, and micronutrients.
“It’s a true honor for me and for BBI to join Brothers Equipment at this year’s Nebraska Power Farming Show,” stated McCauley. “We knew from the moment they joined the BBI family that we would have a special relationship. You just don’t see businesses have sustained success over four decades without a commitment to quality and customer service, and Brothers exemplifies the type of dealer that challenges us to keep bringing the best to the field with our lineup of spreaders. We look forward to engaging with Nebraska farmers and showing them why Brothers Equipment and BBI can help them take their businesses to next-level performance.”
