Farm Science Review will take place September 18-20 at the Ohio State University’s Molly Caren Agricultural Center near London, Ohio.
Gerry Winters, BBI’s territory sales manager for the northeastern United States, will join the sales and marketing team of Agro-Chem, a leading dealer of chemicals, fertilizer, and spraying and spreading equipment with locations in Indiana, Ohio, and Illinois, in showcasing BBI’s spreaders at the Agro-Chem booth.
This year’s Farm Science Review marks the fiftieth anniversary of the show, as well as the thirtieth anniversary of the show moving to the Molly Caren Agricultural Center. Sponsored by the Ohio State University's College of Food, Agricultural, and Environmental Sciences: Resident Instruction Programs, OSU Extension, and Ohio Agricultural Research and Development Center, Farm Science Review welcomes thousands of visitors to enjoy exhibits from hundreds of companies each year.
The 2012 Farm Science Review will feature daily demonstrations in harvesting, strip-tilling, global positioning, and manure and tillage.
Also returning to the show is the popular antique farm equipment exhibit, which will feature more than 1,600 pieces of farm equipment, gardening tools, and kitchen utensils dated from 1800-1930.
BBI’s Winters will be taking two of the company’s elite spreader models, MagnaSpread and Endurance, to this year’s Farm Science Review. MagnaSpread represents BBI’s line of hydraulic granular fertilizer and lime spreaders optimized for precision agriculture with the company’s standard Binary Manifold, with single-axle, tandem-axle, pull-type, and truck-mount options available.
Also standard-equipped with BBI’s Binary Manifold, Endurance is the company’s first-in-class solution for litter spreading, with pull-type and truck-mount options on offer. BBI has also optimized Endurance for use with lime shavings and other organics.
“Gerry and I appreciate the opportunity for BBI to join in with our friends at Agro-Chem for this year’s Farm Science Review,” stated Lee Kilpatrick, Director of Sales and Marketing at BBI Spreaders. “The team of precision ag specialists at Agro-Chem really know the spraying and spreading space within farming, and it’s our pleasure to feature MagnaSpread and Endurance with them at this year’s show. And we would all like to congratulate everyone at OSU on the occasion of Farm Science Review’s fiftieth anniversary. It takes a lot of hard work and dedication to pull off such a special event of this magnitude, year after year.”
