BBI and one of its top dealers in the western United States, Smith Equipment, will participate in the 2013 Eastern Idaho Ag Expo in Pocatello, Idaho.

Held annually at Idaho State University’s Holt Arena, one of the country’s first domed athletic facilities, the Eastern Idaho Ag Expo attracts the farming communities of Idaho and surrounding states, including Utah and Montana.

Smith Equipment, headquartered in Rupert, Idaho, joined the BBI family of dealers in 2012.  One of the top farming equipment dealers in the western United States, Smith stocks an array of equipment to meet the needs of ranchers and farmers across 11 states, including Washington, Oregon, California, Arizona, Nevada, New Mexico, Colorado, Utah, Wyoming, Montana, and its home state of Idaho.

Smith Equipment sells and rents equipment and parts, and delivers 24-hour customer service with certified technicians on staff. The company specializes in equipment for four key areas of agribusiness, including fertilizer equipment, manure equipment, livestock equipment, and grain and seed equipment.

Denny McCauley, BBI’s territory sales manager for the Midwest and western United States, will join John Smith and his crew at the Smith Equipment booth at Holt Arena for the expo. BBI and Smith Equipment will be showcasing Endurance, BBI’s line of spreaders for precision applications of litter, manure, and other organic materials.  Endurance, the industry leader for cost-in-use in litter-spreading applications, features the company’s exclusive Binary Manifold, a variable rate-ready hydraulic manifold that makes connecting to precision agriculture controls a snap.

"In a very short time, Smith Equipment has honored BBI with a strong partnership in the western U. S., bringing our products to the market to meet the needs of sophisticated farmers in the area,” stated McCauley. “We’re honored to come out to Pocatello and work with John Smith’s great team to bring the BBI experience to the Eastern Idaho Ag Expo.  Attendees will see first-hand what we mean when we say that BBI brings the best to the field.”
