The Farmfest will run from Friday, October 5 through Sunday, October 7 at the Ozark Empire Fairgrounds in Springfield, Missouri. The largest agriculture show in the Midwest, the Ozark Fall Farmfest features a number of indoor and outdoor exhibits, ranging from tractors and other farm machinery such as BBI’s lines of spreaders for multiple farming, poultry, and construction applications to livestock exhibits in the fairgrounds’ barn complex.
In addition, Farmfest will also feature rural living displays showcasing a host of products designed to enhance the rural lifestyle. The Farmfest, in its 30th year, is a joint production of the Ozark Empire Fairgrounds and Farm Talk, a regional, weekly agriculture newspaper.
Denny McCauley, BBI’s territory sales manager for the Midwest and western United States, will join staff from one of the company’s fine equipment dealers, S&H Farm Supply. S&H is a trusted dealer of BBI spreaders, with four locations in the state of Missouri, in Joplin, Mountain Grove, Rogersville, and Lockwood.
Denny and the S&H team will feature two of BBI’s spreaders optimized for precision farming applications, a pull-type Endurance and pull-type MagnaSpread. MagnaSpread is BBI’s flagship line of hydraulic granular fertilizer and lime spreaders optimized for precision agriculture with single-axle, tandem-axle, pull-type, and truck-mount options available. Endurance is the company’s first-in-class solution for litter spreading, with pull-type and truck-mount options on offer. BBI has also optimized Endurance for use with lime shavings and other organics.
While both spreaders on display come standard-equipped with BBI’s exclusive Binary Manifold system for plugging into precision farming technology, the Endurance model at Farmfest will feature a 30-inch belt-over-bar conveyor.
“I’m really looking forward to this year’s Farmfest,” stated McCauley. “We’re nearing the end of a long ag show season here in the Midwest, and I can’t think of a better way than to cap things off in Missouri with our friends at S&H. This is a family and group of people who are really committed to doing a great job for farmers in the Ozarks area, providing them with the best specialty ag equipment, and BBI is proud to stand with them at Farmfest.”
