As BBI once again redefines broadcast application of fertilizer with the all-new Javelin, our sales team sets forth on its busiest run of trade shows next week, supporting dealers in the Heartland, Northern Plains, and Canada.
On September 9-11, producers from across North America will run the rule over BBI’s lineup of industry-leading fertilizer spreaders at Nebraska’s Husker Harvest Days, the Big Iron Farm Show in North Dakota, and Canada’s Outdoor Farm Show. Our company is proud to celebrate the debut of Javelin, the first spreader available in the North American market with the ability to spread fertilizer in a true 120-foot swath, with Nebraska dealer Brothers Equipment, Spreader Specialties of Minnesota, and Premier Equipment of Ontario.
Husker Harvest Days in Grand Island, Nebraska features the world’s ag show circuit’s largest totally-irrigated, on-site working farm. BBI Spreaders and our outstanding partners in the region, Brothers Equipment from nearby Friend, Nebraska, will display multiple BBI models at the 38th edition of Husker Harvest Days, and Brian Hobson, BBI’s territory sales manager for the southeast and western United States, will be on-hand to support the Brothers team.
Over on the Northern Plains, our good friend Mike Olson, owner of Spreader Specialties, will have his customary big presence at the Big Iron Farm Show in West Fargo, North Dakota. Since 1980, the Big Iron Farm show has represented the largest outdoor gathering of the upper Midwest’s farming community. Taking place annually at West Fargo’s Red River Valley Fairgrounds, the Big Iron Farm Show attracts nearly 90,000 visitors. Olson’s team plans to showcase the BBI Producer Series, a group of spreaders optimized for large-acreage farming applications.
In Woodstock, Ontario, BBI’s Canadian dealer partner, Premier Equipment, will take Endurance and MagnaSpread (the company’s flagship lines of hydraulic spreaders for precision application of organic material, fertilizer, and lime), to Canada’s Outdoor Farm Show, an annual gathering of nearly 43,000 members of the Canadian farming community and over 750 exhibitors. Joining the Premier Equipment team, led by David Shaw, will be Dennis McCauley, BBI’s territory sales manager for the northeastern United States and Canada, as well as Russell McEver, manager of BBI’s after-market parts and electronics division at the company’s Georgia headquarters.
“This year’s late-summer ag show circuit marks a truly exciting time to be a part of the BBI family,” stated Lee Kilpatrick, Director of Sales and Marketing at BBI Spreaders. “We are so proud of all of these dealers and what they mean to our continued success across the Midwest and in Canada, helping us make a bottom-line difference in the economic viability of North American farms. With the advent of the Javelin, we now have a remarkable, fresh advancement in the onward march of farming tools. The good news for farmers is that as long as there are companies like BBI and dealers like these folks, the tools of the trade just keep getting better.”
