Denny McCauley is at it again, taking the BBI Spreaders road show from Wisconsin Farm Technology Days straight down to Pittsburg, Kansas for the 2012 Four State Farm Show.
Four State will take place July 20-22 on a 300-acre farm near Pittsburg, bringing together thousands of farmers and ranchers from Arkansas, Kansas, Missouri, and Oklahoma. According to the Farm Talk newspaper, the show will feature “farm equipment, seed, feed, agri-chemicals, livestock, farm buildings, grain bins, livestock handling equipment, tires, tools, trailers and much more.”
BBI is honored to participate in its 15th Four State Farm Show, and the company appreciates the opportunity to join one of its great partners, S & H Farm Supply, a family-owned farm equipment dealer with four locations in Missouri farm country, at its show booth this year.
McCauley, the company’s Midwest Territory Manager, will be taking two of BBI’s elite spreader models, MagnaSpread and Endurance, to Four State. MagnaSpread represents BBI’s line of hydraulic granular fertilizer and lime spreaders optimized for precision agriculture with the company’s standard Binary Manifold, with single-axle, tandem-axle, pull-type, and truck-mount options available. Also standard-equipped with BBI’s Binary Manifold, Endurance is the company’s first-in-class solution for litter spreading, with pull-type and truck-mount options on offer. BBI has also optimized Endurance for use with lime shavings and other organics.
“I’d like to thank our partners at S&H Farm Supply for having us in their booth again this year,” stated McCauley. “We are proud to stand beside them and show farmers in the four state area how S+H and BBI can help them bring the best equipment to their fields.”
According to Lee Kilpatrick, BBI’s Director of Sales and Marketing, the geographic area reached by the Four State Farm Show represents a unique market opportunity for the company. “One of the main reasons we take Endurance to this show is Four State is the unique market of the region,” stated Kilpatrick.
“This area is where it all happens—it’s the intersection of big farming, growing chickens, and precision agriculture. The climate in this region is optimal for growing chickens and crops side by side, and one of the core components of sophisticated precision agriculture in this area is leveraging all of the chicken litter. Farmers are able to take the litter and use it in their Nutrient Management Plan—this has eliminated a great percentage of the chemical fertilizers their farms would normally consume. And Endurance is the spreader line we’ve designed specifically to meet their needs.”
