Salford Team Heads to PA for Keystone Farm Show

Salford BBI Endurance Litter Spreader

The Salford team wastes no time in launching 2015 in style, mid-Atlantic area dealers and farmers at the Keystone Farm Show.

Held annually at York, Pennsylvania’s Fairgrounds facility, the 2015 edition of the Keystone Farm Show takes place January 6-8.  The show is Pennsylvania’s largest commercial farm equipment expo of the year and routinely attracts farmers from surrounding states, including Maryland, New Jersey, and Delaware.

At this year’s show, Salford’s Randy Copeland will join area dealer Richard Strite of Agri-Service, from nearby Hagerstown, Maryland. Copeland and Strite will showcase a pair of Salford BBI precision fertilizer applicators, Endurance and Liberty, at the 2015 Keystone Farm Show.

Known as the industry leader in cost-in-use, Endurance is Salford BBI’s flagship line of hydraulic spreaders for precision application of organic materials, including chicken litter, livestock manure, and crop by-product such as beet lime. Option-rich and available in a variety of capacities to match the needs of farms of all sizes, Endurance is available in pull-type and truck-mount versions.  As with all of the company’s hydraulic models, Endurance is standard-equipped with Salford BBI’s proprietary Binary Manifold, making connections to all major precision agriculture technology systems a snap.

Endurance models also ship with Salford BBI’s exclusive precision farming technology, the Task Command System, featuring a virtual command terminal with auto-steer, guidance, and variable-rate technology capabilities.

Liberty is Salford BBI’s heritage line of durable, mechanical spreaders, the first precision applicators to feature the company’s standard-setting spreader system.  At 10 feet in length on a single-axle, pull-type frame, Liberty is optimized for a variety of medium capacity applications of fertilizer and lime and ideal for small to mid-sized farms. Liberty features a ground-wheel-drive conveyor, along with spinners powered with PTO or hydraulics.
