March brings more ag show madness for the Salford team, with a pair of key Canadian shows kicking off the month in Ontario and New Brunswick this week.
From March 4-6, territory manager Henk Klyn will support Ontario-area dealers at the London Farm Show in London, Ontario. The largest indoor farm show in eastern Canada, the London Farm Show attracts more than 15,000 attendees to over 300 exhibits from the world of agricultural products and services. Now in its 77th year at the Western Fair District, the London Farm Show is an annual showcase for big implements and the latest in precision farming technology.
In the Salford booth located at 730Q, Henk will showcase the I-1200, the latest in the company’s line of true vertical tillage implements from the Independent Series. Designed for the finest surface tillage available, the I-1200 features the Coil-Tech Coulter I. The 1 ¼-inch independent blade-mounting system carries blades on a five-inch spacing. These features enable the I-1200 to create the finest seedbeds and do a superior job of sizing and incorporating residue, not to mention greater mechanical weed control.
The Salford booth will also display an S-tine cultivator and feature a Salford BBI Liberty precision nutrient applicator from Ontario Salford BBI dealer Premier Equipment. Liberty is the company’s original mechanical, ground-wheel drive applicator for fertilizer and lime to feature the Salford BBI spinner system championed by later hydraulic models like MagnaSpread and Endurance. Liberty is a staple on mid-sized farms around the world, empowering operators to next-level economic performance through applicator ownership.

Also this week, Salford territory manager Phill Doty travels to Moncton, New Brunswick in support of Maritime province dealer Green Diamond Equipment at the Atlantic Farm Mechanization Show. In its 40th year, the Atlantic Farm Mechanization Show will take place at the Moncton Coliseum Complex from March 5-7. The theme for this year’s show is “Gateway to Farm Innovation,” reflecting the proliferation of farming equipment, technology, and types of farms in operation since the show’s beginnings in the mid-1970s.
Salford dealer Green Diamond Equipment, featuring in booth B202 in Exhibition Hall B, operates 13 locations across the Maritime Canadian provinces of New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, and Prince Edward Island. Green Diamond has been a longtime partner for Salford’s line of tillage and fertilizer application products. Earlier this year, Salford Group was honored to have Green Diamond bring on the industry-leading Salford BBI lineup of precision nutrient applicators, featuring MagnaSpread, Endurance, and the Producer Series, an envelope-pushing family of spreaders optimized for large-acreage operations.
